Downloading

You can download the whole book at once in ZIP format, and you need an uncompressor that 'unzips' the file. Or you can download chapter by chapter in PDF format.

You will need a pdf file reader (e.g. Adobe Acrobat) on your computer. you can download from here

Printing

Many printers will print double-sided (which saves forests) and these will give you on-screen instructions.

If you're not using such a printer, an easy way to print double-sided is to print two copies (one to give to a friend!):

1. Print a whole chapter on one side of the sheets.
2. Put them back into the printer with the page numbers alternately reversed (e.g. 2,1,4,3,6,5 …. 78,77,80,79,82,81 …)
3. Print the chapter again, getting two double-sided copies.

I find that on most printers draft quality printing is quite good enuf for enjoyable reading.

Page numbering

To facilitate double-sided printing, I have arranged the numbering so that chapters always begin with an odd-numbered page. This means there is sometimes a blank page at the end of a chapter.
