Pronounced (for English speakers) "Oo-roo-vah-choo". "Uruvacu" is the word for "God" in the Fataluku language which is spoken in Lospalos and neiboring areas of East Timor. I have an enthusiasm for this, one of the many languages that are the riches of East Timor, and I hope to offer, eventually, a Fataluku wordlist for other language enthusiasts.
Uruvacu ehorupe. God be with you. |
