Manifesto
The books which I am now in the process of publishing were written between the late nineties and now (2021).
Three others were written in the eighties, but they will have to wait until I know what the audience will be.
Nearly all of my books are reflections on the scriptures, written in a once familiar format which I feel is well worth reviving: the sermon as literature. Like a good sermon, they tell the story, explain it, relate it to our present experience and aim to move the reader to active engagement.
My style is what I would call "comfortable reading": somewhere in between popular and academic.
I have in mind people who enjoy reading (as I do) and like to feel that they are getting something substantial and, above all else, real.
My modest aim is to instigate a new reformation of the Church and a revolution that will radically change the world.
